Trump’s children slam ‘slick’ health rumors as president returns to golf course

Eric Trump has addressed the ‘twisted’ rumors surrounding his father’s health.

After commentators and pundits swirled false stories last week that President Donald Trump had not been seen in four days, speculation grew that he might be in bad health.

However, Trump was spotted leaving the White House on Sunday and Monday morning to play golf at his Northern Virginia country club, which he’s visited 21 times during his second term so far.

‘The radical left is so sick and twisted…’ Eric Trump told his followers on X, responding to a false suggestion the president had passed away.

The president himself even dispelled these rumors while playing golf over the weekend by claiming he’s ‘never felt better.’

The president also bragged about the effectiveness of his crime crackdown in Washington, DC.

‘DC is a crime free zone!’ Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Political consultant Fred Wellman criticized the White House for allegedly misleading the public with a week-old golf photo meant to disprove health rumors, calling it ‘insane’ and accusing the president of lying about his activities.

The White House claims the bruising on Trump’s hand is from ‘frequent handshaking’

The 79-year-old has had health come under scrutiny lately after he was seen with dark bruising on his hand during press gaggles in the Oval Office.

In recent months, swelling to the president’s ankles have also been noticeable during public appearances.

The White House said in July that the president had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a vein condition that causes swelling to the lower legs.

Moreover, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella said Trump’s condition was a ‘benign and common’ in a July memo.

He explained that bruising on Trump’s hand was ‘consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking’ along with the president’s use of aspirin as treatment.

Following an August 24th meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt again addressed worries about Trump’s bruising.

‘President Trump has bruises on his hand because he’s constantly working and shaking hands all day every day,’ Leavitt said in a statement at the time.

Rumors circulating about Trump’s health condition occurred mere days after he hosted an over three-hour press conference at a cabinet meeting in the White House.

Trump posted a photo on Truth Social claiming to have played with former NFL football Coach Jon Gruden over the weekend, but speculation about when the photo was taken is creating a stir online. On August 23rd, Gruden Instagram account show shim in the same golf attire as the one he’s seen in with Trump.

Throughout the 2020 election, Trump and his Republican allies often questioned Biden’s health because the Democratic leader appeared confused at public events on multiple occasions.

Trump, who turned 79 back in June, is the second-oldest person to serve as president of the United States and also the oldest to start his term as president.

Biden was the oldest leader to occupy the White House.
