Throughout her fight with MS, Christina Applegate’s devoted spouse has supported her
Actress Christina Applegate has garnered respect from fans for her skill and personality during her long career in front of the camera. Applegate has had difficult times lately because of health concerns, even if her acting career has been successful. She has relied heavily on her family and close friends for support throughout it all, and her husband, a musician, has been instrumental in her path.
Applegate has found support from Dutch musician Martyn LeNoble, who was born and raised in the country. After more than ten years of friendship, the couple got married in 2013. Prior to LeNoble, Applegate was wed from 2001 until 2007 to Jonathan Schaech, her first spouse.
Playing the violin under his grandfather’s tutelage, LeNoble’s passion for music began at an early age. With just $75 in 1989, he came to the US, started a professional music career, and joined a band called Pornos of the Pyros that had well-known members, according to People. LeNoble is still close to his old bandmates despite the passing of time.
After thirteen years of friendship, LeNoble and Applegate started their romantic journey. After they began dating formally, LeNoble proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2010. The pair renewed vows in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home three years later.
One of the turning points in their relationship occurred in 2008, when Applegate had to undergo a double mastectomy after receiving an unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer. Applegate thanked LeNoble for being a rock during this difficult time, saying in a 2009 interview: “He gave me something to really want to live for and something to smile about.”
She also added that he made her feel “beautiful.” In 2011, Applegate and LeNoble welcomed a daughter, Sadie Grace LeNoble, who is now 12 years old and a perfect replica of her well-known mother. They also continued to support each other without faltering.
