“Reason for gossip”: Goldie Hawn, 78 years old

The duo first met on the set of the film “One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band.” Russell was 15 and Hawn was 22. Having joined her son on set, Russell’s mom had pointed to Hawn out of a group of girls who were auditioning for the movie. His mother had predicted that Hawn would get the role, and she did.

The first time Russell saw Hawn, he was instantly drawn to her. The “Escape From New York” actor described her as very good-looking. He recalled, “I thought she was awfully attractive. You couldn’t miss her. She just had this energy about her.”

For Hawn and Russell, their love transcends the traditional stamp of certified approval that tends to come with officiating a marriage. The lovebirds have been together for four decades now and have not tied the knot by choice.

Regardless of not being wed, the couple has created a close-knit family with the blending of their joint child, Wyatt Russell, and their children from their previous marriages – Kate and Oliver Hudson, and Boston Russell.

The adored couple say there is no official secret to staying together for as long as they have, and credit their unwavering desire for each other as the basis for their long-lasting love.
