People pointing out the same thing as Hawk Tuah girl reportedly sells social media account for eye-watering sum
The Hawk Tuah girl may have just walked away with a tidy sum after selling her social media page, but people are continuing to point out this detail.
Remember the Hawk Tuah girl, real name Hailey Welch, who went viral and was able to build an online empire?
Yeah, that same girl might have just added to her wealth in quite an impressive way.
In case you have somehow forgotten how viral Welch became, here is a quick recap.
In June 2024, content creators Tim & Dee TV released a video of them speaking to women on nights out.
Haliey Welch was asked what makes a guy ‘go crazy’ in bed and famously replied: “You gotta hawk tuah and spit on that thing.”
And from that alone, history was made, as we saw Welch sell merchandise, grow massively across all social media pages and appear on podcast after podcast.

But controversy has more recently been plaguing Welch as her fans accuse her of ‘rugpulling’ them when it came to the release of her cryptocurrency, $HAWK.
The cryptocurrency, which was reportedly never registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), hit a $490m market cap shortly after it launched on December 5.
But it took a nosedive within hours, with Bloomberg Law reporting the digital coin actually lost more than 90 per cent of its value.
Despite this controversy, a page reportedly run by Welch (or her camp) entitled HawkCoinX still garnered a lot of followers and selling this page has given the 22-year-old more money recently. The page boasted just shy of 400,000 followers – at 396,300.
The buyer, who hasn’t yet been identified, changed Welch’s page name to ‘Up Only Memes’ and shared a screenshot of their offer to buy the account for $325,000.
