PAPOOSE HIT HIM!? Comedian Reportedly Gets Hit By Papoose After Repeatedly Calling Boxing Champ Claressa Shields ‘Serena Williams’ During A Prank!

What started as one of Gerald Huston’s typical trolling videos took a serious turn — and this time, he picked the wrong one.

The comedian, known for ambushing celebrities with uncomfortable or off-the-wall questions, approached boxing champ Claressa Shields in public and repeatedly called her “Serena Williams,” clearly mistaking or mocking her. While it might’ve been intended as a joke, Claressa wasn’t amused.

At first, she tried to walk away calmly, brushing off the disrespect. But Huston kept following, pressing the comment, even doubling down on the Serena reference. That’s when things shifted — fast.

Her longtime partner, rapper Papoose, stepped in to de-escalate the situation. Witnesses say Papoose remained composed at first, calmly asking Huston to chill and back off. But instead of easing up, Huston allegedly stepped closer to Papoose in a way that many saw as confrontational.

According to multiple accounts, that’s when the situation got physical.

There’s no full video of what happened after that — yet — but Claressa Shields didn’t mince words. When asked about it, she simply said:

“You already know what happened.”

The clip is already circulating online, sparking debate around respect, boundaries, and clout-chasing in the influencer world. Many fans are defending Shields and Papoose, saying Huston took things too far — especially with a Black woman who’s broken barriers in sports and is constantly misrepresented in the media.

Others are calling for comedians to recognize the line between humor and harassment.

No official charges or statements have been made at the time of writing, but it’s safe to say Gerald Huston won’t be walking up on just anyone again without thinking twice.
