Mom Says She Can ‘Snoop’ Through Kids Phones Because She Pays The Bill
When it comes to opinions, it seems as if everybody has one on almost every subject imaginable. This is especially true of parenting, and people will share their opinions, whether you want them or not.
If you were to post your opinions of parenting online, it is going to get a lot of attraction and debates will continue after starting almost immediately. That is what one mother has discovered after she said she snoops through her children’s phones.
When she posted this revelation on social media, she said that she is allowed to snoop through the phones because she pays for them. This comes from mother Laura Muse, who takes her son’s and daughter’s cell phones away before they go to bed.
That isn’t a bad idea, but many people disagree with the fact that she goes through the phones to see how her children are behaving when she has them in her hands. She says she’s allowed to do it because she pays for them.
@museparty I feel the same when I read his comment section🥴🤦🏼♀️ #nobigdeal #raisingteens #cohenmusey #musecrew
“I own their phones, I pay for the phones. I can go through them whenever I want,” she quipped. “People might think [it] is a sign of disrespect or an invasion of their privacy, but this is how I manage my ship.”
When her children were around 11 she started checking their phones every week and she continued to do so until they were teenagers. Sometimes she will still ask them for their device so she can check them.
She is doing so to ensure that the children are not taking part in any inappropriate exploits and trying to protect them from scammers and predators.
