Juliet Mills’ Much Younger Husband Is Sticking With Her At 82
It’s not out of the ordinary to see a couple that is not exactly balanced when it comes to age. When it happens to a celebrity, however, many people seem to have an opinion.
That is where Julian Mills comes in. She was a child star but now she is 82 and she has been married for 40 years. It’s also noteworthy that her husband is 20 years younger than she is.
At first, many people wondered if the marriage was going to last because of the difference in their age. Both of them were in the entertainment industry, and they built on that along with a real love for each other in order to last a long time.
In 1966, Mills worked along with James Stewart in the Western film, The Rare Breed. That was really her breakout role and then in 1970, she landed a role in the series: “Nanny and the Professor.”
Even after the comedy series was over she was still looking back on the memories with a smile on her face. She said: “I’m very proud of it and have very, very happy memories of it. I’m still recognized all over the place for that as much as anything I’ve ever done, which is extraordinary.”
She met her husband, Maxwell Caulfield when he was cast alongside her for the play, The Elephant Man. He was also well known for working in the film, Grease 2.
When she described meeting her future husband, she said it was love at first sight. She went on to say: “We were instant friends, immediately attracted.”
She also said that the romance was ‘full-blown’ and ‘instantaneous for us both.’ Their first date was to see a Broadway play after being invited by Natalie Wood.
