Jason Momoa leaves fans speechless after shaving off beard for first time in six years

Jason Momoa has shaved his beard for the first time in six years to tell an important message

Many fans of Jason Momoa have been left in disbelief after seeing the Aquaman star shave off his beard for the first time in six years.

The 45-year-old has become known over the years for his signature beard, but taking to Instagram recently, the actor revealed that was no more.

On Wednesday (July 30), Momoa shared a video of himself shaving his iconic beard for the first time in over half a decade in an important message about single-use plastic.

“Haven’t shaved in six years, and here we are again,” the actor wrote in the caption.

The Dune star then explained: “I launched @mananalu to help eliminate single-use plastic. Now, we’re taking it even further, partnering with our team at @Getboomerangwater to bring in a closed-loop system that sanitizes and bottles water onsite.

“That means even less waste, reduced shipping footprint, and our aluminum bottles get reused over and over.

“This is the future, and we’re starting in Hawaii. Let’s get rid of single-use plastic. For our children and for our planet. All my aloha, J.”

In the video, Momoa said: “Only for you, Denis,” as he referred to Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve.

“Goddamnit! I hate it,” the actor then said about his new look.

Momoa’s grooming regime has seemingly left many fans speechless online, with one person penning on Twitter: “Babe wake up Jason Mamoa has a bald face,” while a second added: “Jason Mamoa looks completely different!!”
