Jennifer Garner Experiences A Tragic Loss
One of the most difficult things we can go through in life is to lose a loved one in death. It happens to all of us, however, including celebrities who seem to always have good things happening to them.
Recently, Jennifer Garner experienced this issue when she lost her 85-year-old father. She went on social media to announce his death, and it was difficult for her because she had remained close to her parents throughout her adulthood.
Her father, William John Garner received his bachelor of chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University in 1961. He went on to receive his Master of Chemical Engineering in 1976.
Perhaps his most noteworthy achievement is the birth of his daughter, Jennifer Garner. He also had two other daughters as well.
Recently, Jennifer also wrote a blog post about her parent’s 59th wedding anniversary. They had been married for almost 60 years when he passed away.
She wrote: “Happy 59th wedding anniversary to my loving and sweet parents!” “Thank you, Mom and Dad, for making sure my sisters and I had a safe and happy childhood.”
In speaking about the death of her father, she wrote: “My dad died in peace on Saturday afternoon.” When he left, we were with him and sang “Amazing Grace.” Did we carry him across or scare him away? That’s a good question. “The death of an 85-year-old man who lived a healthy, happy life is not a tragedy, but I know that grief is inevitable and can come up at any time.
“Today is a day to be thankful.
“We are thankful for Dad’s kind nature and quiet strength.” For the way he teased with a sly grin and made up the part of the all-in, always-patient girl dad. He has a strong work ethic, is a good leader, and has faith.”
